Language & I18n
Azhararium uses British English spelling and all English pronouncation transcriptions are based on my dialect / Received Pronunciation. Transcriptions for other languages are generally based on the pronunciation given by Wiktionary or Wikipedia.
All names that use 'eastern' order will be written as such.
All shorthand dates & times should be formatted correctly for you. E.g. 2010-12-14 16:18:20 unzoned (2010, December 14th, 16 hours (4 pm), 18 minutes, 20 seconds)
I will try to give the pronouns of every person I mention, to the best of my knowledge.

Typography: dashes – dashes – dashes – dashes – dashes
Along with all the other reasons to hate (sparkles emoji) AI (sparkles emoji), the bastard's dragging shit to hell with it: dashes, the aforereferenced sparkles emoji, Jesus. And it sucks because I'm the kind of autistic, ¬note ¬wpshort Donald Knuth$ was the kind of person to reward someone for finding a typographical error in his work with a ¬note A hexadecimal (base 16) dollar = 0x100 cents = £d2.56¬sub 10$$£d1¬sub 16$$ ¬link wikipedia Knuth_reward_check$cheque$.$Knuthian$ typographic nerd who will use a dash instead of a hyphen when appropriate £en so I fucking hate how Azhararium now automatically appears sus... at least my chaotic writing style definately does ¬b not$ look llm-generated.
Also, in the field of text decoration: most, but not all, links are highlighted, however ¬note links ⇔ underlined text; text is underlined ¬link wikipedia Logical_biconditional$iff$ it's a link; there is a ¬link wikipedia Bijection$one-to-one correspondance$ between links and underlined text; the set of underlined text and the set of links coincide$all and only$ links are ¬u underlined$ (that is except for 1 instance, 7 words ago). Also are notes, which are all and only underdotted. I don't need to give a non-functioning example like the underlined text above, because I use notes everywhere; I'm a big fan of ¬note Because they let me fit an arbitrary amount of text into a small space. It's useful because then I can tangent as much as I want without (necessarily) destroying the pacing of the writing$notes$.
But if you find any typographical errors (like the dreaded hanging link, or, alternatively, the hanging note), let me know (I am only human after all (ignore the next sub-heading)).
I am God and this is my Creation
So to speak...
Part of my Creation is pretty much everything here: I like doing things myself and so all the code for Azhararium is written by me (with a lot of help from MDN and occasional assistance from Stack Overflow (even then, I'd always rather rewrite something myself than copy-paste)). Everything here I don't make, though, I will of course give credit for. Right now that's primarily images; as mentioned above, click to see the source and author(s). For the most part, the information for my posts is from Wikipedia or Wiktionary, which I reference through plenty of linking (thus is the style of the wikis). But any other sources I use will be mentioned and linked in posts.
Oh, and it probably goes without saying, but couldn't hurt: I will never use AI (✨✨✨✨✨) for Azhararium or anything else. At least, I'll avoid it as much as I can. More and more it feels like AI bloatware is built into everything; it doesn't help that 'AI' doesn't even exist and is just a marketing buzzword half the time. Even the fucking Windows searchbar is AI-powered ffs!

Colour Scheme Preview
This is a preview of the different colour schemes. The appearence of this section will change as you change the options. Here's some example text: umm... shit, I can't think of anything... ok, here's some numbers instead: 1 (one), 4 (four), 77 (seventy-seven), 1,234,567,890 (one billion, two hundread and thirty-four million, five hundred and sixty-seven thousand, eight hundred and ninety).
Here's a link you've (certainly) been to: azharadhu.neocities.org/settings, and one you've (almost certainly) not been to: azharadhu.neocities.org/
Here's some more text in a box!
And the same links again (though links don't tend to be seen in boxes very often): azharadhu.neocities.org/settings, and azharadhu.neocities.org/
Here's a <details> box
Inside this is a ¬note With some ¬note So important that it requires ¬note But ¬note *four$three$ notes!$not one, not two$...$very important$ stuff$note$ and a ¬cwnote Some scary shit in here.$content warning note$!

Content Warnings
I will use content warnings whenever appropriate, which shouldn't be very often. Actually, most of these categories aren't used currently, but I've got them here for future-proofing. Links that direct to a website that needs to be content-warned will have a £qCW note£q next to it: ¬cwnote Example content warning$CW note$. Warnings can co-occur, e.g. ¬note which is definately in my top 10 great words that refer to awful things$misogynoir$ would be warned with racism and misogyny.
I will censor slurs in general (though it's not going to be a commonality by any means), and if I don't for some reason, it will be forewarned. Also, I'm not going to censor or hide anything else that I talk about (so no "unalive"ing). I understand why someone might but to me it treats topics that are important to discuss like they're taboo, which just feels gross. I don't want to make people uncomfortable, but that's the intent of the CWs.
Also, my posts (and Azhararium as a whole) have plenty of ¬note Actually I just checked and there's only ¬note 22 £qfuck£qs, 15 £qshit£qs, 3 £q¬note not including 15 £qbastarda£qs in ¬link /posts?id=2510121600$WOAT 20$$bastard$£qs. In total: 40 swears / 63 posts = 0.63492$0.63 swears per post$ on average (as of 2026-01-07).$swearing$, so just a heads-up.
